Dan Robinson, President
Dan is Co-Founder and President of Advanced Voluntary Concepts. Dan has over 20 years experience in both Medical and Voluntary Benefit design as well as sales and communication. Dan is a leader, innovator and top producer in the worksite marketing industry specializing in customizing and implementing unique core and voluntary product and enrollment solutions for clients of all sizes.

After graduating from the University of Rhode Island Dan spent 8 years as a leading Medical Broker Representative for companies like U.S Healthcare, Cigna and NY Life. Dan then joined Legal Club of America as a Regional Vice President responsible for the Northeast territory and was the company’s leading producer three consecutive years before becoming a Regional Sales Director for Allstate Workplace Division where he was responsible for opening their first NY brokerage division in 2002. Dan became one of the top worksite producers in the country during his three year tenure with Allstate.

Prior to founding AVC in 2008, Dan spent three years with Fage Benefit Solutions. Fage was created to provide turnkey voluntary benefit consulting and enrollment solutions to the brokerage community. The Company primarily focused on providing customized voluntary benefit platforms for small and mid-sized companies located in the tri-state area. This business model was successfully delivered to an under served market, and produced millions of dollars of voluntary premium.

Dan is a Workplace Benefits Association Advisory Board Member and has published various industry articles and reports including the cover feature story in Benefit Selling Magazine. Dan is regularly a featured speaker and has served as an expert panelist at many industry events including the Workplace Renaissance Association VB Conference and the Non-Profit Employee Benefit Summit.

Dan lives on Long Island with his wife Nicole and two beautiful daughters.
